Privacy Policy

The Croatian League for Hypertension, headquartered in Zagreb, Sortina ulica. 41, ID number (OIB): 29370213020 (hereinafter referred to as "League" or "we"), collects, processes and uses certain personal data of persons who wish to participate in League projects and receive notifications related to projects and health areas that the League is engaged in.
In doing so, we ensure that personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. The data we process are: Name and surname, e-mail address, work specialty, institution of work (this data is not mandatory).
We collect your first and last name, as well as your e-mail address, so that we can contact you for the purpose of participating in the projects of the League. We collect this data so we can send you notifications about projects organized by the League, in which it participates and projects it supports, as well as to send news from various health areas.
We need information about your work specialty in order to be able to adjust the way you participate in our projects, as well as to adjust the notifications we send you, according to your area of work. You do not have to enter information about the institution of work in order to participate in our projects and receive notifications, but this information can also help us to better adjust the notifications we send you.
By selecting (clicking) the appropriate option, you can give us permission to publish your name and last name on the official website of our project. This we do only with your special consent, for the sake of transparency of the project and praise to all involved. Your participation in the project is not conditional by granting this consent. If you change your mind, you can always contact us via our e-mail and we will remove your information from the website.
We collect all data solely on the basis of your consent, which you provide by entering the data in a form on our website or on the website of our individual project, and by selecting (clicking) on the check box to accept the privacy policy. You can always withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data by sending an e-mail to info@h-liga.hr 
Also, when receiving notifications to your e-mail address, at the bottom of each message you can click the unsubscribe link. The withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing within the time of giving your consent until the withdrawal of consent.
We will process your data for as long as necessary to achieve the purpose, i.e. until the termination of projects and work of the League in the field of health or until your consent is withdrawn. We may provide your personal data to our associates who, as processors for us perform the service of sending notifications to your e-mail addresses (sending newsletters). We will not provide your data to third countries outside the European Union.
At any time, you have the right to request the League to access your personal data that we process to correct any incorrectly stated personal data. In certain cases, you have the right to delete personal data or restriction of processing, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and the Act on implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation. Also, you have the right to object to data processing and the right to transfer data to another processing controller when the processing is carried out on the basis of your consent.
